DIAGNOSE CLUTCH CONDITION AND OPERATION, CLIENT WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT, CLIENT FOUND THAT CLUTCH PEDAL WAS HIGHER AND FELT A LOSS OF POWER AND OR BOOST
UPON INSPECTION TECH WAS ABLE TO VERIFY THAT CLUTCH PEDAL AND POWER LOSS WAS DUPLICATED. TECH WAS ABLE TO VERIFY THAT PEDAL FEEL AND TRAVEL WERE NOT WITHIN NORMAL CONDITION, TECH ALSO VERIFIED THAT OIL WAS AT THE CORRECT LEVEL BY PROCEDURE OUTLINED IN THE SERVICE MANUAL, TECH PROCEEDED TO DISMANTLE VEHICLE AND FOUND ONCE THE TRANSMISSION WAS REMOVED THAT INPUT SHAFT HAS DAMAGE ON THE TRANSMISSION ALONG WITH CLUTCH ASSEMBLY AND FLY WHEEL, THE INDICATION OF DAMAGE ADVISED BY TECH IS THE VEHICLE WAS DRAGGED OR PUSH WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN GEAR CAUSING THE INPUT SHAFT TO BE DAMAGED, THUS NOT ALLOWING THE RELEASE BEARING TO HAVE FULL TRAVEL AND CAUSING CLUTCH "BURNING" CONDITION THUS DAMAGING THE PRESSURE PLATE AND FLYWHEEL AND OVERHEATING ALL THE ATTACHED COMPONENTS AND ULTIMATELY DAMAGING THE TRANSMISSION, TECH RECOMMENDS REPLACING TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH ASSEMBLY AND FLYWHEEL AND RECHECK VEHICLE
